A special Live at the Guild co-presented with The Seaside Institute featuring Dhiru Thadani and Robert Davis on “Incremental and Successional Design: A Seaside, FL Commercial Development Case Study" was hosted on January 5, 2023.
A Congress for the New Urbanism 2022 Charter Award recipient, the evolution of the Seaside, Florida civic realm has undergone continual reinvention and provides a living laboratory of lessons learned on successional development as it responds to changing circumstances and present-day needs. Dhiru Thadani and Robert Davis outlined Seaside’s Central Square development by decade, including reflections, and lessons learned during the Q&A with attendees.
