Brandt Hay is a practicing architect actively engaged in the design of office, commercial, retail, educational, and custom residential building typologies. He maintains an abiding passion for human-centered design, is an enthusiastic student of timeless architecture past as well as present, and travels extensively as part of this study.

Brandt is the design principal at Stoa Studios, where he leads the design process for all projects and personally handles all major communications with clients. During the past decade he has had the opportunity to engage in a rich variety of design work for a diverse group of clients. This work has included designs for Advent Health, Yum Brands (M&M), and Simon Property Group.

Brandt maintains a committed advocacy for betterment of the built environment, and toward that end has served on the board of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Florida and various design review boards in the southeastern United States. He is on the Walt Disney Company’s list of approved architects, and is a LEED® certified practitioner of energy efficient design. He is licensed to practice architecture in Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. 

Prior to founding Stoa Studios, Brandt was an associate at Geoffrey Mouen Architects, where his work focused on the design of carefully detailed custom homes in a wide range of architectural styles. That position was preceded by work at Architectural Group III (focus on hotel/hospitality design) and Hibler Design Studio (custom residential design).
