In founding Allison Ramsey Architects three decades ago my goals were to improve the quality of residential design built for the large percentage of people who buy houses not designed by architects. I believed that house design is integral to the region, city, neighborhood and block where it is located and should help maintain a sense of place. I have had a lifetime passion for low cost housing solutions that serve the large percentage of people in the world that do not have a decent place to live. 

Allison Ramsey has been fortunate to be able to partner with other Guild members and with members of the CNU, working in some of the best designed neighborhoods in the US over the past 3 decades. We have been fortunate to partner with 3rd party home plan providers, like Southern Living, and we have developed our own plan collection of 2900 plans (and growing) that provides housing solutions for just about any need. And I have been fortunate to spend my whole career working with Habitat For Humanity, providing plans for local affiliates in the US, volunteering on construction sites, and working internationally for over 8 years with the support of my partners who have allowed me to pursue my passion.prawl.
